Who am I

Hi, I’m Pramesh Singhavi.

I was born in Indonesia, spent a few years in Brazil, and then moved to Singapore, where I lived for 15 years. Growing up across different countries meant constantly adapting—new cultures, new schools, new ways of seeing the world. It also meant learning how to explain where I’m from in under five seconds (still working on it).

Sports has always been a big part of my life. I played cricket for Singapore’s U16 and U19 national teams, which involved a lot of training, travel, and figuring out how to balance school with competitive sports. Later, I spent two years in the army, training to become an officer in the intelligence branch. That experience sharpened my problem-solving, strategic thinking, and ability to function on questionable amounts of sleep.

Now, I’m at UC San Diego studying Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Machine Learning and Computer System Design—which sounds intense, but really, I just enjoy solving problems and figuring out how things work. My curiosity doesn’t stop at engineering, though. I’m also minoring in Finance (because markets are just puzzles with money) and previously pursued Theatre (because why not?). I love exploring unexpected connections—between AI and creativity, finance and psychology, or even cricket and business strategy.

Outside of academics, I’m always up for a new challenge. I’ve run a marathon (still recovering), I experiment with cooking (with mixed results), and I spend way too much time thinking about how random things relate to each other. Which is exactly why I started Uncharted Angles—a space for exploring ideas, questioning assumptions, and making sense of the world in unconventional ways.

Welcome to the rabbit hole.
